The future is here, and it is green. Increasingly, we are more conscious about consumption, materials and behavioural practices across our production. We know better and we strive to do better. We had a simple mission: create an event experience to launch Bauer Media’s 2019 new luxury trend forecast that was sustainably futuristic in its approach. A forum of the future: the concept defined by a monochromatic colour way, an installation of two 24m lineal custom white high-gloss dining tables, enhanced by a minimalist lighting and tech design; featuring commissioned ‘future-floral’ table sculptures by Dr Cooper, HYPEBEAST’s Editor-in-Chief as the special guest speaker and a sustainable and ethically sourced plant-based menu. A restrained modern elegance. Design materials were given to the Sydney Dance Company and the National Institute of Dramatic Arts to be repurposed for future productions.
