As the sun went down across the mainland, the energy in the newly refurbished Westfield Newmarket built with cultural anticipation. Customers aware that something special was about to take place on the new rooftop precinct. The monolithic industrial sculpture on the adjacent carpark rooftop started to glow a moody red and light beacons grabbed the crowds’ attention. As darkness descended, a 30-piece strong choir stood atop the cube silhouetted by ambient lighting, performing a high energy and emotive collection of modern, cultural classics.
